Midnight Fuck

The house that we live in is divided into three units, all (fairly) identical in layout. We live in the middle unit, which is a pain because it means that we hear noises on both sides and we annoy people on both sides with our noises.

We are currently in a music war with the couple living in the unit behind us, who seem to think that we are playing music maliciously loud and with a sub-woofer. We are not; the sub has been turned off since they moved in, and we've been very careful not to have the music above a reasonable level. Really. The problem is that the walls here are very thin - fibro crap - and the layout of each unit places their bedroom next to our lounge room. Tough shit, says I.

Currently, there's nobody living in the unit at the front of the house. The owner has been doing renovations on it for aaaages. But last night, somewhere around midnight, Si and I started to hear this little dog whining and howling, getting louder and louder before dying down into a soft whimper. We ignored it, until our room started to shake and shudder - the cup of water on our desk went all Jurassic Park, our computer monitors threatened to tumble, and you could feel the whole floor vibrating.

Was a huge tanker driving past? Was our gas heater about to explode? Was it an earthquake?

No. It was the owner and a 'lady friend' fucking in the empty first apartment. HARD fucking. HARD cumming.

Who knew he had it in him to give someone that much pleasure?

Also... do we make the house shake? If so, no wonder the families with kids have moved out since we arrived. Fuuuck these walls are thin.

And we're in the Tunnel!

We're in the Lane Cove Tunnel! We stopped at Wynyard today, so now I know the two aren't related. But it doesn't answer my question as to WHY we don't take it every day. Maybe they only take it when traffic is bad? Maybe when they're running late (but of course that doesn't explain Monday)? I don't know. I'm not sure I'll EVER know.
Mysterious mysteries.
Of course, it's now 4:40pm, so there is no chance of me getting to my stop by Monday's 4:25pm anyway, so there are no celebrations for taking the tunnel anyway.

Still listening to: Basement Jaxx - Remedy

Where are the Regulars?

I don't recognise anyone in this bus queue. Wouldn't there be people that catch this bus everyday? So why have I never seen any of these people before?
Odd.

No Tunnel Today

No tunnel today. What the fuck?!
This sucks.
I'm not happy with the driver's explanation. I want to get to the bottom of this.
At least some guy juts got on in Lane Cove... that makes the journey less superfluous.

Bus Mystery Solved?

I just asked the driver if this bus goes via the Lane Cove Tunnel (like my Monday bus did) and he said that it depends. The supervisor decides and radios the instructions in.
Odd way to run a bus route, and I don't know how that will affect TC.
So I will find out in about 10 minutes if this will be a quick journey or not.
Also, there are seats to spare today, where yesterday there was standing room only. This is weird.
I might also add that the bus was about 10 minutes late.
I love buses.
We just stopped at Wynyard. I don't know if that's an indicator of an express or not. I also don't know why the bus WOULDN'T take the Lane Cove Tunnel; it's not like there are any stops between the Harbour Bridge and the M2 anyway.
Blargh. Annoying. And confusing.

Life

Life is wierd. In general, but especially at the moment.
This should probably be one of the worst weeks of my life, and despite feeling tired, sick and depressed, I can't really say that the week, as a whole, was completely terrible. I find this weird because I usually find life to work in defined up and down periods, but this week has been a strange blend of shit and greatness. So Monday sucked, and so did Tuesday (the day Sophie and I "talked"), and Wednesday I spent alone with my thoughts, and went from feeling positive about the emotional progress I had been making, to feeling sick and depressed as the potential negatives moved closer to my forethought. I had to work Thursday, and despite the circumstances, it was a fucking good day. Alex was in a great mood, all the jobs were easy, and we got a tip that paid for probably the best calamari and chips I've ever had. We ate it with a view of the ocean too.
Then I got paid alot more than I expected.
I then met up with Boggle in the city for beer, and to discuss our women issues (he's in a similar circumstance, only his happened earlier, and is more negative). We had lots of cheap beer, met some of Boggle's tafe mates, and also one random who had some good advice. Then we met up with Jon, and more merriment was had.
A wonderful day!
Then we went to Ruby Rabbit...
Maybe the biggest kick in the pants I could have possibly received.
Then we get home early morning, but I only sleep for maybe 3 hours because I have to get up and contact as many pawn shops as I can on the off chance that they will get some of goods. At about 11:30am I decide I'd contacted enough, and went to bed. I am awoken an hour later by a phone call from Alex asking me to work that afternoon and evening; and that he'd be around in 5 minutes to pick me up.
Great, what a great day it would be.
So I work, work, work, and I feel sick and depressed all day, and have a gross lunch to boot. Life sucks, right?
Well, we then head off to our evening job (sans Alex), and it takes for ever.
BUT, we find a deposit envelope jammed in the safe. We grab it, divide it amongst the three of us (Jason, Jose and I), and we each came out $270 better off!
So what the fuck is going on life, are you up or down? Was this a good or a bad week? Or do the goods cancel out the bads, and it becomes just a week?
However, I think because of the magnitude of the bads, and because I do feel like shit, that I must say that it was a shit week.
But I just don't know if I'm in an up or down period right now.
Confused. Really fucking confused actually, but that's not really to do with the "up or down" problem...

Listening to: Traffic noise; some fuckwit stole my mp3 player, remember?
