Regrowth Festival

Ah, so much fabulousness.
2012 has probably been the best year of my life yet. I've met so many beautiful, wonderful, encouraging, and inspiring people. I really feel loved, and am really excited about where my life is going, and who is joining me for the ride.

The weekend (at the Regrowth Festival) was an accumulation and condensation of all these feelings. Yes, drugs were involved (which always make even the simplest experiences enjoyable), but there was a communal feeling of connectedness, intimacy, joy, love, excitement, enthusiasm and laughter. I spent time with current friends, met new ones, and brought recent ones into that special place in my heart where my lifetime friends live.

It was, in short, a life-changing experience. New perceptions, new thoughts, new ways of expressing myself. A total hippy love fest.

My heart is swelling with the beauty of it all.

My new phone, the Samsung Galaxy S II, has a decent camera. My old phone's
camera was nothing short of terrible, which stopped me blogging. The idea
here is that with a good camera again, my blog should start getting used
again, just like in the days of my Nokia.

A tiny micro-brewery in Mt Kuringai called Happy Goblin produces this
delicious pale ale.
They also do a stout, which I'm very eager to try.

The delicious mixed case from Matilda Bay Brewery (containing one six pack
each of Fat Yak, Big Helga, Beez Neez, and Redback) was sold out yesterday,
so, keen for drinks, Aaron picked up a case of this.
It's really very nice, but definitely only a treat beer at $70 a case.

Time ticks nearer for when I leave for Sydney.
My dearest Lilly left last week, and I miss her terribly. I didn't think it was going to be this hard.
I'm happy that she is coming back the first week of August to help with the move. The idea was that she would find a job while she was down there, but that is getting less likely. Secretly (well, not *that* secretly), I'm happy about that, as it her unemployment that will allow her to come up for the move.
I do miss her.

Ouchies. I kicked my toe on a cupboard door on Friday night.
It still hurts, and us quite bruised, but I don't know if it's broken or not. I've heard that if you only *think* it's broken, then it isn't broken. Plus, I've broken a toe before, and I'm pretty sure it hurt more than this.
I remain optimistic. If only because I have to move house in 4 (it so) weeks.
