Happy Simon

Why am I so happy right now? I shouldn't be THAT happy. I didn't have breakfast this morning, I slept in so I got to work a little late, and the very fact that I'm AT work, shouldn't add up to me being happy.
But I am.
Why?
Because I found a copy of the Ween Brisbane show last night, and I'm listening to it now. And it's as awesome as I remember.
I'm buzzing with happiness.
I am so thankful that Ween have an open taping policy, so that Brown Tracker can exist. Now, the Sydney show isn't yet up on Brown Tracker, but the very reason I took so long to find the Brisbane show is because Brown Tracker has been down until a few days ago, so there is still a chance that the Sydney show turns up there. I'll keep on looking and let you know if it appears. In the mean time, here is the link to the Brisbane show torrent.

Poker and Air

Had a pretty good weekend.
Just did little things during the day with Lilly (played Mario Galaxy, walked to her Uni), and played poker with Josh, Pete and her on Saturday night (we didn't win - Pete is a semi-professional online poker player, but it was Josh that beat us).
To finish it off, Lilly and I started watching Carnivale last night. Looks cool, but I've heard that it craps out after a little while. We'll see.
Tonight is Air. Pretty excited; I've been wanting to see them since I saw the bonus live DVD that came with Walkie Talkie. It's gonna be cool, and The Tivoli should be a good venue to see them at, too.
I'm currently sitting on the bus on the way to work, and feeling rather tired. A child is screaming in front of me. At least it's warm now - it was rather cold earlier this morning. Doubtless a taste of things to come.

Listening to: the rattling of the bus. At least the child has stopped screaming. Now people talk to it. It doesn't listen.

Today Lilly and I went to Byron Markets. I love Byron Markets. I bought some Thai fishermans pants (to replace my linen pants that recently broke, and were oh so comfy), and a new bag (to replace the leather one that recently broke). I'm all decked out in Hippy gear now.
We also bought some scented soaps and some olive spread.
Oh, and Lilly bought a crazy cool wooden bowl.
It's so nice up here. I'd like to settle down in the Byron Hinterlands. So lovely.
The drive down from Bruce's place to Byron is so serene. Lovely days (daze).
