Getting back into it

So it seems that my blog is no longer interesting me as much as it once did. It's not so much that, it's more that I can't be bothered recounting my life of late (while I have had many wonderful times lately, the events themselves haven't consisted of much to talk about).
So I'm not going to bother catching up so much (it's the catching up that disinterests me) rather, I'm going to start posting my thoughts (as opposed to events) and things that interest me. I am also going to try and post photos more often coz photos 1) speak a thousand words (beneficial when you're using a phone keypad) and 2) photos are fun.
So yes. I will start posting more often now. More introspective posts too.

Listening to: Cradle of Filth - Thornography (it's actually very different to their other albums - more 80s metal - but I'm really fucking liking it. Tasty, tasty, catchy riffs! Holy shit mang, the tastiest riffs I've heard in AGES! Yeah. Hot.

Catching up part 1: Tool

I'd say the first big event that happened since last posting was the Tool concert.
Wow.
Seriously the best concert I have been to.
Amazing.
I came twice (just without the ejaculation). It was the same mental feeling as when I came. Twice. Once during Wings PtII, and once during the next song, Lateralus.
Wow.
Holy fucking shit.
Amazing.
Went with Mike S and Ross. Ben (from work) was there too, but not sitting with us.
Originally the tickets sold out in 35 minutes, and we didn't get any, but later they released 1000 extra tickets, but didn't advertise it, and it was from these 1000 tickets that we sourced ours. These 1000 tickets weren't released when the others went on sale, because they lay to the extreme side of the stage and Tool weren't sure if their stage show would permit viewing from that angle. Well, obviously it did. We were pretty far back, but the seats actually turned out to be freakin awesome. We could see every member, and even saw Danny and Maynard do a little play off for the final beat/scream on one of the songs (I don't remember what song though).
Fucken awesome.
Fucking, fucking, fucking awesome show.
Here is the setlist:

Stinkfist (standard live version with extended breakdown)
forty fix & 2
Jambi
Schism (with fast breakdown middle bit thingo)
Lost Keys (no dialogue/vocals)
Rosetta Stoned
Danny drum solo (sounded VERY much like Ticks & Leeches and Triad)
Swamp Song
Wings for Marie
10,000 Days
Lateralus
Vicarious
Aenima

Wow. Just wow.
Just. Wow.
Yeah. Best concert I've ever been to. Better than Nine Inch Nails, better than Massive Attack, better than the other Tool shows, better than Mogwai.
Best. Concert. Ever.
Speechless.

More to come soon.

Amazing Tool Nugget

This is the most amazing thing yet I have heard about Tool. Read it now.

From http://www.mikeportnoy.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=1266584
Quote by headup13

"I didn't know if you people knew this. But, If you burn both Viginti Tres followed by Wings for marie .. Then, play that track as one with 10,000 days as another track and play both at the same time, Both Wings for Marie AND 10,000 days sync ! It is incredible ! It is like an 8 piece band but it all FLOWS ! It flows like one song.. It is the most unique and incredible thing I have ever heard in my life.. BadA$$ ! The vocals, drums, the guitar riffs, everything flows ! Both songs get heavy at the same point at 9 minutes and 14 seconds in, it is magical ! This band synched tracks ! They synched them in testament to Maynard's mother passing to sound like an 8 piece band.. The vocals wisp back and forth almost like a conversation during the sync.. It's UNREAL !

Tool meant these tracks to synch.. If you look at the track times, "10,000 days" is 11 mins and 13 seconds long.. When you add the track times of "Viginti Tres" and "Wings for Marie" it adds up to 11:13 as well.. Look at the album cover ! There are 3 faces with one in the front.. This SICK band meant for all three tracks to play as one song for the self-title track "10,000 days" . Freaky !!

By the way, "Viginti Tres" means the number 23 in Latin . 23 is the number of synchronicity . And nothing is more synchronous than hearing the tracks mixed as I described .. Everything Tool writes is for a reason. These aren't merely interludes and fillers this band puts between songs. All their tracks have a meaning and there's a reason why they are there .. They are truly a one of a kind band like no other.

I recommend using a surround sound system for this.. Play 10,000 days in the rear and viginti treS + Wings for Marie in the front.. It's much better than headphones with listening each tune in one ear.. Because you have a fade with headphones.. Ever notice sometimes the bass guitar (or the effects) will only play in one ear with headphones ? And you may have to adjust the bars and volume.. But once you set it right, the sync is undeniable and it is a pure treat .. Well this is what I mean . It must be heard with a surround system . About two minutes in there will be sounds swingin around your head..It is so cosmic and trippy. When it gets heavy at 9 minutes and 14 seconds in, Both songs get heavy at the same point and it sounds like a cohesive 8 piece band. It's crazy ! I havent stopped listening to this musical feast for 3 days now.. This band is SICK SICK SICK !!

Tool, once again, has come up with something totally innovative on an album. A band that is truly unparalleled IMHO. They never disappoint . On the 2001 release Lateralus , they did the infamous fibonacci sequence in the title song.. Tool's Lateralus is the best album front to back I have ever heard, PERIOD.. They are intoxicating once you give them enough time to squeeze into your consciousness. And with hours of straight listening, your flattened.. Because this band is so deep, it takes a long time for you to absorb their musical complexities , waves and textures. But once you absorb them with alot of listens, it is entrenched into your psychy and they are a mad MAD addiction ..

Every album this foursome comes up with has some new mad musical ideas, they are like mad musical scientists .. Here, in 10,000 days they sync three songs , to make it sound like one incredible song ! The only band in history to accomplish this incredible feat on an album.. This band is pure genius. And with every release they never cease to amaze me. For about 10 years now this band has made me just speechless. I have received such pleasures over their sound over the years that I believe these 4 guys who call themselves "Tool" , are really from another planet ... Pure genius . What innovation . What an experience . Album of the year . This is a masterpiece !!"

Holy sweet fucking shit.

Dammit. Boredom...

Seems I spoke too soon in my last post. Although, I'm bored not because I have no work, but rather because I cannot do the work that I have.
I use an in-house designed program called NBT to edit the timetables.
Last night, they upgraded to 3.1 (from 2.8), and it fucked most things up. There are so many problems with it, that I don't really feel like doing work because I feel that it may all be for naught when these bugs are fixed. So I'm annoyed. I've done next to nothing today because of having to fix problems that arised from the bugs.
Gragh. So annoying.
At least today I got the office onto both PBF and White Ninja (see links to the side). So that was fun. Emails shootin across the office with new comics that people had found.
Ben didn't like White Ninja at all at first, and even through a box at my head for continuing to send him links. Eventually though he came around to it, and even started sending White Ninja emails himself.
White Ninja is tops.
Check this shit out!
Psycho fans!

Awesome.
So yes.
I'm bored.
That is all.

The D

Tenacious D time you motherfucker, go!
FUCK YE-EAH!
So last night was the Tenacious D concert. Most awesome. It started out with them lying in their loungeroom and waking to play for us - so it was already a more interesting stage show than last time. Lee himself came out and raided their fridge and smoked a bong with them. Then JB decided that the band needed to move into the 22nd century and go electric.
He said he'd bought an electric guitar that day that some guy had made himself - it was made from tin foil, an extension cord and a toilet seat. Because it was electric, they plugged it into the wall and promptly electrocuted themselves.
They played a video of their descent into hell, where they came across the anti-christ playing guitar, and Colonel Sanders and Charlie Chaplin playing drums and bass. So they started a band.
The screen retreated and revealed hell - complete with 666 drum kit, volcanoes and skulls. They rocked. It was awesome. I ended up to the side of the stage because it was easier for Leanne to see, and was pretty close. I took a heap of photos (my zoom rules), but the camera had trouble focussing in the poor light... which sucks. It may have had to do with the batteries being near dead, too.
Ben and I finished work at 4pm so that we could get on the drink before the show. Poor Josh wasn't going to come to the show - the Tenacious Triangle would be incomplete.
I met up with Leanne after work, and the three of us headed to the Strawberry Hills hotel for happy hour - and what a happy hour it was.
Before this though, we stopped at a newsagent to get the stuff necessary for a kickass Tenacious D sign. We made it at the pub, and added authentic beer stains. Awesome. It read "I poisoned your wine!" and had a goblet as the Y, with a demon hand holding it, and a pitchfork + pentagram exclamation mark. It was fuggen kickass. I will try and post a photo today.
We also had a quick go on the pokies, but only lost money.
I called the rest of the gang (Jon, Helen and Boggle) and decided to meet them at the Captain Cook hotel (I'd already arranged to meet Ross and his roommate Chris there).
So we hopped in a cab and headed over. The cabbie was a champion. Had a great conversation with him about food, heat and sex. Funny guy. We thanked him and gave him a tip in gratitude.
Shortly after we arrived there, Ben recieved a call from Josh; he was coming. Fucken A. This meant Ben had to run over to the Hordern and buy a ticket though. So off he went. He was fucken puffed. But he got one! And more than that, they sold out just behind him! Just in the nick of time, Josh! Awesome. The triangle was complete!
We all grabbed a steak there (I realise more and more why I don't enjoy steak), and headed in.
And the rock began...
On other news, I shaved my head last week (a number 2). I reckon it looks awesome. Almost every Summer I think about it because of the heat, and this time I finally decided to go ahead with it - and I'm totally happy with it. Showering is easier, sleeping is easier, putting on headphones is easier, getting ready is easier, swimming is easier, having the window down in the car is easier. Generally, it's all good. Stoked. I had all intentions of growing it all back, but because of the simplicity it brings, I'm less sure now. I'll see as it happens.
I'm late for work. I was buggered after The D last night, so I slept in an hour, and now I'm late. As I walked up to the station the express train arrived and left, and I'm now on the stop-at-every-station-wait-at-every-station-coast-between-every-station-take-longer-than-any-train-should 8:45am service from West Ryde, and I'm fekkin late. I thought I'd get in (late) at 9:15am, but it's now that time and I'm only at Redfern. Lame.
So this is all I can be bothered typing right now.
Later!

Listening to: train noise. This is the very reason you folk got this post; I left my bag at the office so that I didn't have to carry it to The D. Because of that I have no iriver, and no book. So I turned to my blog for entertainment.

Bored

Wow. How long has it been? Fucken ages, that's how long.
I don't have the net at home, and I only started back at work last Thursday, so there's one reason. Of course I could have been typing posts on my phone, but I didn't. Bit of a pain in the arse to do so. So why am I doing so now then? Because I'm bored and sitting on the toilet.
Work has been wonderfully busy, so it's not been boring at all (which is another reason there hasn't been a post in some time).
I guess I'm writing this just to let you all know that I have not yet discarded this blog.
I also wanted to let you all know that I had a fucking fanfuckingtastic night on Friday. Thank you all for coming - I felt so loved. Thank you.
Tonight is The D!
ROCK!

Chuck Norris rules.

When Chuck Norris has sex with a man, it is not because he is gay, but because he has run out of women.

Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.

If you ask Chuck Norris what time it is, he always says, "Two seconds till." After you ask, "Two seconds till what?" he roundhouse kicks you in the face.

Chuck Norris uses ribbed condoms inside out, so he gets the pleasure.

Since 1940, the year Chuck Norris was born, roundhouse kick related deaths have increased 13,000 percent.

There are no disabled people. Only people who have met Chuck Norris.

There is no chin behind Chuck Norris' beard. There is only another fist.

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him.

Chuck Norris once lined up to kick the winning field goal of a high school football game. When the football went flat, he persuaded the referees to let him kick the field goal with a 3 month old child. Chuck roundhouse kicked the baby 60 yards through the uprights and then proceeded to bang every girl in the stadium.

When Chuck Norris's wife burned the turkey one Thanksgiving, Chuck said, "Don't worry about it honey," and went into his backyard. He came back five minutes later with a live turkey, ate it whole, and when he threw it up a few seconds later it was fully cooked and came with cranberry sauce. When his wife asked him how he had done it, he gave her a roundhouse kick to the face and said, "Never question Chuck Norris."

Those aren't credits that roll after Walker Texas Ranger; it is actually a list of people that Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked in the face that day.

If you unscramble the letters in "Chuck Norris" you get "Huck corn, sir." That is why every fall, Chuck travels to Nebraska and burns the entire state down.

Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.

Chuck Norris once roundhouse kicked someone so hard that his foot broke the speed of light, went back in time, and killed Amelia Earhart while she was flying over the Pacific Ocean .

Chuck Norris does not have AIDS but he gives it to people anyway.

Rather than being birthed like a normal child, Chuck Norris instead decided to punch his way out of his mother's womb. Shortly thereafter he grew a beard.

When Chuck Norris plays Oregon Trail his family does not die from cholera or dysentery, but rather roundhouse kicks to the face. He also requires no wagon, since he carries the oxen, axels, and buffalo meat on his back. He always makes it to Oregon before you.

Chuck Norris built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Chuck met all three bullets with his beard, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.

Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.

A man once asked Chuck Norris if his real name is "Charles". Chuck Norris did not respond, he simply stared at him until he exploded.

Chuck Norris recently had the idea to sell his urine as a canned beverage. We know this beverage as Red Bull.

Chuck Norris can make a woman climax by simply pointing at her and saying "booya".

Chuck Norris does not sleep. He waits.

Chuck Norris once shot a German plane down with his finger, by yelling "Bang!"

The chief export of Chuck Norris is pain.

After much debate, President Truman decided to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima rather than the alternative of sending Chuck Norris. His reasoning? It was more "humane".

Chuck Norris often asks people to pull his finger. When they do, he roundhouses them in the abdomen. Then he farts.

Chuck Norris is currently suing NBC, claiming Law and Order are trademarked names for his left and right legs.

If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death.

One of the greatest cover-ups of the last century was the fact that Hitler did not commit suicide in his bunker, but was in fact tea-bagged to death by Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris took my virginity, and he will sure as hell take yours. If you're thinking to yourself, "That's impossible, I already lost my virginity." then you are dead wrong.

Chuck Norris uses a live rattle snake for a condom.

Aliens do exist. They're just waiting for Chuck Norris to die before they attack.

Once Chuck Norris was knighted by the queen of England . When the queen was performing the ceremony, Chuck Norris roundhouse kicked her in the face and stole her tiara. He now wears it when he plays polo with Prince Charles every Thursday as a reminder.

Chuck Norris's girlfriend once asked him how much wood a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood. He then shouted, "HOW DARE YOU RHYME IN THE PRESENCE OF CHUCK NORRIS!" and ripped out her throat. Holding his girlfriend's bloody throat in his hand he bellowed, "Don't f--k with Chuck!"
Two years and five months later he realized the irony of this statement and laughed so hard that anyone within a hundred mile radius of the blast went deaf.

Chuck Norris appeared in the "Street Fighter II" video game, but was removed by Beta Testers because every button caused him to do a roundhouse kick. When asked bout this "glitch," Norris replied, "That's no glitch."

Sir Noblogalot

Sooo I've not been posting lately, have I?
Yeah, well, I haven't been that enthused by it.
Work's been good lately, I've been a little bored, but it's been good.
I went to the Blue Mountains yesterday to help an operator with their maps, so that was cool. Went with Chris (whose party it was on Sat night), so it was good to talk with him (he's a sound engineer, and the party was held at his studio)... I'm kinda wishing that I'd done something more to do with music with my career now... not that it's really too late. We'll see what happens later in life.
I've now officially moved into West Ryde... however, I don't yet have all my stuff. Soon. Soon.
Yeah... what else?
Accompanied Boggle, Brendan and Jon to the airport today to pick Helen up... we were an hour late, but so was she, so it worked out very well. I also ran into Briony there; she'd just got back from Japan. Woulda been cool. I should try and see her more often.
So yes. As I'm now moved into West Ryde, it means that I don't have the internet at home, so all those myspace comments will be left all alone for some time. I still check my email at work though, so you can still contact me through that. I'll look into getting the net soon.
And yes. That's all I can be bothered typing right now. I've actually felt rather lethargic of late; I don't really know why. Lethargy leading to apathy.
Blargh.

Drugs are bad, mmmkay

The weekend was tops. Super tops. Well, Friday was... and Saturday should have been... but I'll get to that in a moment.
Friday night started the usual way, with drinks at Sweeny's after work, only this time Leanne came along. It was the last day for the two Americans at work - Zach & David - so we were all expected to go out for drinks, however, I had a concert to go to with Jon, Boggle and Leanne. Jon and Boggle had plans up until about 8pm, but Leanne decided to meet me after work for a few drinks with my work mates. It was good (especially as I didn't get as drunk as I did the week before...). We left Sweeny's at about 7pm maybe, and had all intentions of going to the Belgian Beer Cafe for dinner... kangaroo to be precise. However when we arrived there, they informed us that there were no tables until 9:30pm... crikey. So we had a beer each (Leanne and I had a Hoegarden... yummy), and decided to head down to the Australian because we heard that they had kangaroo steaks there. It, too, was full.
So we headed toward Lord Nelsons on the rumour that there was a restaurant near there that served kangaroo steaks. I'm not sure if they ever found that restaurant, because on the way I ran into my year 12 Earth & Environmental Science teacher (and favourite teacher at Turramurra High), Mr (Steve) Brompton. So I talked with him for some time, and lost my workmates in the process. So when I was done talking with him, Leanne and I headed over to Lord Nelson's to find them. They'd been trying to call me, but my phone battery had died earlier... "I need a new battery, do you hear me, a new battery!" (3 points for whom can tell me the reference)
We saw them as soon as we walked in, so that was good.
BUT! Terror strikes! All was not wonderful on the Lord Nelson front! They weren't brewing Nelson's Blood! Nooooo!!! So I settled for an Old Admiral... but check this out... they now sell Old Admiral and 3 Sheets in bottles! So we can drink it at home! wupee! Boggle met us there before we'd finished our first pint, but time was getting away from us, so we couldn't linger... of course there was time for Boggle to have his first pint, but we left when he was done, and headed down to The Metro to meet Jon.
We arrived at about the same time, and headed straight in (or did we go to McDonalds... I don't remember, and it doesn't matter...). The time was about 9pm maybe... maybe 9:30pm. Point is that despite us arriving late, we still caught the opening band, Watussi. I'd never heard of them, but they sounded a little like a Cuban Rage Against The Machine... well they were more cuban funk than metal, but the lead singer did sound like Zach from RATM. And they were fucking awesome. Fucking awesome. Go check them out:
http://www.triplejunearthed.com/watussi
You can download some tracks from there... if you like what you hear, make sure you vote, and why not check them out at the Newtown RSL on Sat 2nd Dec... it'll be the very last gig plaed @Newtown Level 2, so it'll be historic too (@Newtown is moving). I have a work party that night, so I'm not sure I can make it. But, then again, the work party is in Newtown... so we'll see.
Anyways. They kicked ass. Serious mule.
The main act, The Black Seeds, was fucking cool aswell, but much lower energy than Watussi, but that is no criticism, they were tops... and reggae just makes me wanna dance. So I went off. Fucking great fun. Fucking great fun.
Didn't linger too long afterward, Jon and Boggle grabbed a beer, but I was spent. We all crashed at Jon's place (bless you and your wonderful home, Jon), and were ready for a Saturday of fun and excitement.
Saturday was The Porkers concert that I was planning to go to, but it was also the Propellerheads DJ set that I was also wanting to go to.
I checked my voicemail messages, and on them was a very enthusiastic Mike (S) telling me how pumped he was for the Propellerheads gig, and that Renata would come too. Renata! I don't think I've seen Renata since Mike's 21st! And then he said that he can get soem gear for us too. So I was suddenly more keen to go to The Propellerheads. First, I should clarify... I was a little wary as it was only one of the Propellerheads, and it was only a DJ set. But I figured the tunes would be good, and the drugs would make me want to dance anyhow.
So I arranged it for Leanne and I to go and to take drugs. Boggle and Jon were still going to go to the Porkers concert. Good; I didn't want them to miss it.
The arrangements were made to meet Mike at Town Hall at 8:30pm, and I went over to Brendan and Leanne's house for dinner and company.
We thought we were going to go to the Thai restaurant on Victoria Rd, but it was packed out, so we walked down the street a wee bit and found a Singaporian (sp?) Restaurant (or eatery, rather) that had tables free. Man, it was TAAASTYYY, and the guy there was really friendly, which is always a bonus. So I think I'll definately be going back. The guy even brought out this special chilli sauce for my chicken rice, you squeeze lime over it. It was fucking tasty (mainly due to the lime, but there was also an underlying spice in it which tasted great), and hot enough to give me my chilli fix. Ooooh I liked that stuff. I want to go back there. And it was cheap too!
But they were busy, and the food took a while to arrive, so Leanne and I didn't get to Town Hall until just after 9pm. Sorry Mike.
We were to meet Renata at the Civic before heading to EQ, but there was a big badass line out the front, so we didn't bother going in. One of the first things Renata said to me was that I had cut my hair, so it really has been a while since I saw her...
It started out a great night! We were all excited, we were all happy, we were all talking. It was great. Leanne and I started off with a Jagerbomb (fun!), then I followed with a St Arnou Cloud, and it was with that drink that we all dropped. We then headed upstairs to where the set was to be played.
Dead. Almost noone there, and certainly noone dancing, but it was early so we found a bed (they had beds to sit on!) and talked excitedly. It was really good. But loud. Too loud. We ordered more drinks (too embarrassing to list here) and sipped them and waited for the drugs to kick in. We were all happy and enthusiastic and excited, so we ordered another drink. The drugs had begun to kick in by now, so we all became happier, more enthusiastic and more excited. Leanne went to the bathroom (where it was much quieter), and upon return realised just how loud the club was, and became uncomfortable. And sick. At least that's what I think happened. She couldn't stay out of the bathroom for too long before freaking out, so she went back in and stayed there. I sent Renata in to look after her, and they had an enjoyable time talking, but she was still unable to leave.
So I tried to have a good time, but found I was too worried to dance, and found I just couldn't find my rythm. Mike and I went out to the floor eventually (when it began to fill up), but I just couldn't feel it. Probably because I was worrying.
At 1am the DJ from the Propellerheads came on, and started with "Take California" Mike and I danced, and Renata came out to join us too, but Leanne didn't. And I still couldn't really feel it. So I thought I should leave with Leanne. I mean, I wasn't enjoying it, and she wasn't, so I was messaging her, telling her we shoudl go, when Renata asked me to go see Leanne anyway. So I did, and we left.
So it has been officially decided. I now have such a good time dancing to good music, that drugs can no longer equal the fun I have when I enjoy the music and dance to it on my own accord. What's a little worse, is I dropped my second pill just before we deciced to leave the club (in a last ditch effort to make me positive about the experience). So Leanne and I left and headed to Hyde park to waste a few hours talking (I love talking when I'm high... in fact, it's one of my favourite parts of getting high). We were sitting there when my second kicked in... kinda wish I hadn't taken it.
Huh, funny thing. When I gave Mike his second pill, I gave it to him wrapped in foil, but he didn't notice that and just swallowed it when I gave it to him. I'm like "dude, that had foil on it." He froze, a shocked expression on his face and said "serious?"
Funny.
Me not wanting to be outdone by him, when I went to the bathroom to take my second one, I put it in my mouth, held my gum in place with my tongue and swallowed. Oh, wait. I was actually holding the pill with my tongue, and just swallowed my gum... woops. Man, we rule.
So yes. It was actually the drugs that ruined Saturday. so I don't think I'm going to take e again, at least not for a long while. I think it was realised mainly because Friday was so fucking awesome, I danced like a crazy person, and I didn't even take any drugs. And the Saturday was the night I planned to dance, I took the drugs, and I just couldn't dance, I was worried about Leanne, and it was generally uncomfortable. So fuck 'em. The fact that they cost $60 also pisses me off. So yes, Saturday was so much crappier than I wanted it to be. At least Renata and Mike had a good night (I told them to call me when they left; they left early too, but to go to a better club... I haven't talked to Mike since the night, but I'm keen to find out what the rest of his night was like).
So Leanne and I ended up going back to Jon's by 4:30am. Noone was home, so I figured that Jon and Boggle had stayed at his friends house (whose name I don't know how to spell). But at about 9am, I hear them come home. What the? We're the ones who took drugs, and they're the ones coming home at 9am. Damn, must have been a good night. So I get up to go to the toilet and talk to them, and they tell me all about it. It sounded like a fantastic fucking night. Yet another testatment to how drugs are so fucking unnecessary when the music is good. 9am! What a great night it must have been! And Boggle was stoked! His lucky underpants really work! He had a great weekend, and ended up mackin with his friend (whose name I can't spell). She's totally hot, too. So congrats to Boggle for all that he acheived on the weekend too...
So I'm now thinking that drugs aren't all that they promised to be. But I still want to try acid, but I'm not so sure Leanne should. So I'll probably just do it with Mike, Renata and Denise. I'll see if Alex wants to come up too. I still want to take it at the Wollombi house, so I'd best arrange it soon...
This morning I received the moshtix newsletter, and whatdoyouknow, the Porkers are playing this Friday at Manly Fishos... so maybe we should go to that...
Work is slow. We are in one of our stagnant periods, and I thought I'd waste a bit of time writing this post, and it seems that I wasted alot of time doing it (I started at 8:30am, and finished at about 10:15am). I better hassle Matt about giving me the work that I need.
Ok peeps, I think that's it.
Wait, no it isn't! I have a Lyrics Born concert tonight! I forgot to tell you that! So Alex is gonna come along to that, and so is my usualy concert bussy, Leanne. So that'll be super cool.
Ok, that's definately it (well, at least all that I can remember at this time).
Later!

Listening to: ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead - Source Tags and Codes (album... I bought this one in America, and am only really just now getting into it... sad).
